The video clip of “Hello Viet Nam” recorded by flycam which is conducted be a Koreanviolon artist – JMI KO, who has done it for over 5 years while living and performing in Viet Nam.
The scenery of the lands J. Mi set foot on made her mesmerized and decided to make the MV “Hello Vietnam”. J.Mi is a violinist in Korea but has a special affection for Vietnam. After a trip with friends many years ago, she returned to Seoul and decided to put off work and start a new experience in the S-shaped country.
The artist said that she has integrated the places she has visited in the music product. The audience can see popular images of Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Hoi An ancient town, Sapa, terraced fields in the Northwest mountains. J. Mi wants friends in Korea as well as internationally to know more about Vietnam tourism.
The female artist confided that when she accidentally heard Hello Vietnam by Vietnamese-Belgian singer Pham Quynh Anh, she felt like an electric current ran through her body. The lyrics partly express her feelings, so she chose this song to record a video. In the MV, J. Mi wears ao dai. This is the outfit she often chooses when performing or participating in events.
